Welcome to the Quinn Family Reunion Website

Welcome to the Quinn Family Reunion Website

Family, I want to personally invite you to be part of something new: the Quinn Family Reunion project. We are in the very early stages of planning—nothing is final yet—and I would love for anyone who is interested to join the planning committee.

The reason I created this site is simple: we don’t truly know each other anymore. Many of us have moved away. I see photos of family members and their children growing, but we don’t have real relationships with each other. I want to change that. I want us to meet face-to-face, reconnect, and rebuild what time and distance have taken from us.

That’s why I’m calling this event:

The Quinn Family Reunion

Our Path Led Us Back to the Best View — Each Other

This is the mission behind this reunion. As our family gets older, we can’t keep waiting. We shouldn’t only see each other at funerals, during painful moments. When my grandma passed, I realized how empty and disconnected I felt—not just from extended family, but even from my core family. That moment made me understand how important this is.

I hope we can work together to create something meaningful. This may be our first reunion—but it doesn’t have to be our last.

I’ve already talked with a few family members in the background, and everyone thinks this is a great idea. So here it is. Let’s go.

My name is Mikiyah Quinn Perkins, grandson of Janet Quinn, and I want to say: nice to meet you.
I moved to Las Vegas in 2003, then Orlando, Florida in 2004, and ever since then, I haven’t really known many of you. Instead of apologizing for the distance, I want to reach forward and reconnect.

I’m an IT leader in the luxury hospitality and casino industry, where I’ve worked for 17 years. I’m currently working on my Project Management certification and building a tech company called Blue Terabyte. My hobbies include music, art, and media.

I’m excited for this new chapter for our family.
Welcome to the Quinn Family Reunion.
